Why Blind Create? I have the knowhow and skills to guide anyone to make art work, whether you can see, have partial sight or are Blind. But it’s not just about making a painting, it’s about the story you tell through making the artwork, from the idea to the finished creation. It’s discovering your inner self, and what makes you tick.

LATEST: Another year of funding has been secured the Pamis Wellbeing Online Art Group through the Shared Care grant. This provides weekly online Art sessions for those with profound and multiply learning difficulties

I’m the Founder and Director of this new social enterprise business.

Blind Create aims to provide specialist art tuition and create art using via video link.

Accessibility:

Blind Create is constantly being developed, so as you revisit, you’ll find changes in content and developments in accessibility.
Accessibility is addressed with every clients individual needs and I would ask clients to use their own accessibility software where necessary such as screen reader, magnifier etc. Therefore please bear with changes as this site progresses and develops in time.
Also please use any colour overlay that may help with your resources and image you’re working on.
In addition if you have 'Colour Blindness’ where it is difficult to see colour or differences in colour this can be managed when discussing your individual requirements for the art tuition.
The widget from Userway to provide more choice for visitors for accessibility. The drop down menu provides 10 options and combinations to choose from.

Vision - Blind Create aims to rekindle and improve your passion for art for anyone inclusively, not just Blind and partially sighted people.

I would like to be the primary provider of specialist art tuition online and expand as wide as possible.

Latest:

PAMIS secured another year of funding in 2024 from Shared Care Scotland to enable a further year of weekly online Art.

Last years Facebook post on Thursday 13 April 2023.

This new funding for PAMIS will enable a further 12 months working with the PAMIS (promoting a more inclusive society) online art group on a weekly basis, which is brilliant news.

This group of talented artists came together during the Covid 19 pandemic and have continued to grow and develop their talents. They all have profound and multiple learning disabilities and have just performed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, where they demonstrated not only their artistic talents but their performance skills too.
